Vivekananda Pratishthan Community College
The Community College was started in 2001 to help people who didn’t have many educational opportunities. The courses here focus on practical skills for jobs. They’re especially for people who need help catching up in their studies or who haven’t done well before. Experts are invited to teach about new things related to jobs. All the courses here are designed to help people succeed in business. There are around 40 different courses to choose from.
Most students, about 80%, take a course to become Balwadi Teachers in Marathi and English. They get jobs right after finishing the course. Teachers from different places like Shirpur, Aurangabad, and Daulatabad come here to learn, and about 2000 to 2500 teachers and parents benefit from this in just 2 days. The community college also arranges different workshops and competitions to help people learn and grow.
Vivekananda Pratishthan is a movement in education. Teachers need to keep up with changes in education to improve themselves and provide better education. For this purpose, the Vivekananda Foundation started an educational research and training center in the year 2000 to connect better with students.
Together with Vivekananda Pratishthan, workshops and training are conducted for the Board of Directors and Principals from Jalgaon, Dhule, and Nandurbar districts. The training center also arranges workshops and training in different subjects related to education. Every year, two integration camps are organized for teachers and staff from all departments of Vivekananda Pratishthan. They also hold workshops for the families of the soldier drivers, bringing everyone together and making them part of the Vivekananda Pratishthan family.
